If this is what you consider ok, your standards are way off. Boats rot from bottom up, plywood on top will not help.
For what its worth the bass boat i previously had the PO did a deck over, he used the bondo to feel the gaps. It seemed to hold up well when i tore the deck out, but then agian the running surface of the hull ripped off the boat while he was under way.
