What trouble with leg trimmed high?

Hi, newbie here; 95 5.7 alpha1 gen2 runs perfect.
Lots of rocks etc in low areas of the lake. I frequently raise trim to max(not trailer)
but i have heard this causes trouble. mine sounds fine, never a noise or shudder.
So what damage will this do at low speed if any? thanks
