What type of bench seat do I need?

Hi everyone, I recently purchased a used west marine inflatable dinghy. Model HP 310, I think it's a 2008. It didn't come with a seat, and I'm having trouble finding the correct seat. None of the seats I've found look like they'll fit correctly. I'll attach some pics of the type of bracket that is on the boat. Thanks for any info

Welcome to IBoats,

Check with WM customer service if have seats for that dinghy model, first time seeing such bench brackets. If NLA will need to remove both brackets, buy and glue 2 bench side patches and a stransversal seat....

Thanks for the reply. I have spoke to west marine and unfortunately they do not have parts for this model year anymore, and could not direct me to someone who does. I have scoured the internet looking for seats that look like they would work with no luck. Would you happen to have any advice on how to remove these brackets? Thanks for your time

You're welcome,
Those brackets must be removed heating them up while a flat screwdriver makes its way inside the glued patch starting any side. This procedure must be done by a skilled techie, repair shop or can blister the fabric badly under the patch if done incorrectly.

These added transversal patch and seat will be the way to go. Check West Marine, Defender for them....

Thinking it over, you could fabricate something simple to hook to the existing side patches bolted with a flat head bolt....

Yes! That is an idea that I had. I was thinking of using a 2x6 for the seat and making that same kinda notch and running a bolt through. I will have to look up the transversal dinghy seat and see what it looks like. Thanks for all the pics!
