A 10hp 16.6CID is a Sportwin, but the cover could possibly be from a previous year (only '59-'63 though)?

Re: what type of old evinrude do i have?

thank you for the info. now if i can just get her running. i rebuilt the carb, but stil can not get her to fire up.when i first got the motor a few weeks ago, i pulled the plugs and she had fire on both plugs. since then though it has been a no go. i was wondering if hte kill switch might be shorting out. i would sure like to be able to fix and run this one without having to pay 60.00 bucks a hour to take her to the shop, dont know if it would be worth it.th
