What type of tandem axle trailer jack does everyone use. I have yet to find one that works well or as advertised without some problems. I have used a bottle jack, but found out the hard way that when the tire is flat, it is too tall to get under the axle close to the wheel. I purchased a plastic ramp jack ( drive the good wheel up onto), but it wants to kick out of the tire rather than ride up onto it. Neither one of these types seem to work well. Should I consider a floor jack? I would like a jack that transports well and is easy to store and carry in my truck bed. Any other suggestions.
