I recently purchased a fletcher arrowflyte 14 so i can try my hand at water skiing. It's got a 1986 Evinrude VRO 60hp attached on the back but happens to be missing the propellor(i gather the previous owner was a bit of a nutter!). Can anyone tell me what type/pitch prop i will need to ski off and what nuts and bolts are needed to attach it (i'm a total novice in the boating world so please excuse my terminology!).

I believe the standard stock replacement prop is 13.75" x 15" or a 13.75" x 17" (optional size). When you order a prop you should also purchase the prop nut, washer and cotter pin if you do not have those parts.

Bob

Ditto Bob_vt on the prop. size. That sounds like a pretty light boat. The 15 might be a better choice for skiing.

You want to turn the engine about 5500 at W.O.T. A little over won't hurt it.
