What up with the web site again

very, very slow to respond, very slow to access a post, almost forever to have your typed response get posted, very long to return to a screen and the advertisements seem to have a lot to do with the slow down.

Yea it's almost impossible to use with IE and not much better with Firefox. Chrome seems to work ok though.

I have a feeling that Sunday is maintenance day and that adds a high load to the server and slows things way down. Also it is going to slow down during times of high access and there could be some throttling going on in the area that the server is located. There are a lot of things that can contribute to slow downs and based on what I have seen the last few weeks, it looks like a lot of things are coming together on Sunday afternoons and evenings.

Exactly.

I believe every night around 8:00 PM Mountain time the forum server runs some tasks. Mainly just backing up the database and files posted for the day.
