Out walking fence this morning. Haven't done that in a while.
As I approached the dam on one of my smaller tanks I flushed a. . . .something.
Saw it for only about a second.
Appeared to be a lizard, about 9" to a foot long. Cream or pale tan colored. Ran quickly with the squirming motion common in gators and iguanas. Disappeared into a cedar thicket where I was unable to find it. Never saw anything like it here before.
Any ideas? Could it have been an iguana?
