What was the first year for VEC on the 205 models?

I'm looking for a good used Glastron 205 (or maybe a 225) and want to make sure I get one that was manufactured with the newer VEC technology. Can someone tell me the first year Glastron used VEC on the 205 models?

Ive got mine for sale, its a 2010... Vec was early 2000's i believe

Number of reasons....

Primarily I want to go back to college, more so take part one of the NYS police Academy which is offered close to home. My employer won't work with me on a full time schedule and go to the academy. So I have to go part time for 8 months, I cannot afford all my bills taking a $460/month pay cut.

It also doesn't suit my needs anymore, I am primarily a wakeboarder and thats all we do. I would also like to wakesurf so I am going to upgrade to a V-drive when I get back that extra play money a month.
