How about something like a 50 some footer to live on with some sort of docking pod for a 23 Super Air Nautique for all the toys?

I wonder if there is even one boat listed above that would not bankrupt the dreamer in less than a year. Those are all accessories of dream riches, not really dream boats.

I have owned several dream boats and would still select one of them if I had unlimited funds and were at least 10 years younger.

All Boston Whalers. Each ideal for at least one environment but the classic Montauks from the 70s and 80s were the most versatile. . .fish offshore to small lakes and rivers. Power would be JohnnyRude 70, though I really loved the Suzi DF70.

My practicle boat would be a 25' Boston Whaler with twin 200s from the late 80s w/walk around cuddy.

My "if I ever become Paul Allen" boat would be the Senses, saw it in Cairns this past may.

Noticed I inserted "restored" in front of Elco...:p

Actually, that boat, moored in the Toronto harbour instead of a house or condo might be doable. Of course, the cost of the divorce would probably eat into the cashflow a bit...

A colleague of my wife's is married to a pilot based in Hong Kong. The only form of affordable housing they could find was actually a liveaboard, moored in the harbour.

But yeah...buying it is just the beginning...:D

Umm, I think its called 10ft-itis...

Anyway, my first, and current boat is a 1970 Stardust Cruiser 40, which I live on when the weather is nice. I wouldn't mind upgrading to that floating palace they built to showcase their skills. Its got a what looks like a continuous tinted window down the entire length, and a clamshell cover thing that can house 2 jetskis in the rear. WIN!
