What would cause water entering into the drive oil reservoir & leak under the drive?

So I got the whole issue resolved with the day the water hose pulled of and the motor damn near overheated. All is well now except for one thing I haven't been able to solve. I had a nearby marina service the upper and lower unit during the winter time, in which they did a pressure test before and after the repair and I saw first hand that it did hold a constant pressure without drop over 24 hours. So I was good with that. Last year I started to notice that I was going through a reservoir full of drive oil about every time we went out for about 4-6 hours. I was told to replace the hose that went from the reservoir back to the transom, so I did just that. If the boat is sitting for just 24 hours, it will not only go through a reservoir full of drive oil, but it will also leave a puddle in the bilge, followed by a visible leak running down the lower unit. I have now noticed water/oil mixture coming from the weep holes at the lower unit. If the upper and lower are holding durning a pressure test, there is no leaks at the reservoir bottle, those hose going is new, then where would the water be making its appearance at. I am now being told that it may be a "failed" fitting on the transom that the hose is connected to. I had these problems start last year before the drive was serviced so now I think it's time for you pro's to chime in. I really have no clue where to start.

The fitting on the transom is plastic, so yes that may very well be your problem.
