there is a 9322 and a 9223 but no 9233
9322 is 1973 and 9223 is 1972

Thanks Dude, I rechecked and it is a 9322, so a 1973, I must be gettin' old. The motor is in pretty rough shape, but am going to use it to teach my 14 year old son how to rebuild. It turns over and the gears work but no spark. Glad I found this site, looks like spare and new replacement parts will not be as hard to find as I thought. Thanks again.
