I just picked up a Goodyear motor and need to know what year and horsepower it is. I would also need to know where I can find parts such as a propeller and a hood since both of these are missing. Thanks

Your motor is a 1957 12hp. This motor was made by OMC's Gale div. I don't know where to find the pasts you mention. I would imagine they are just like gold, they are where you find them.

Youll probably need to go with used parts.<br /> The motor is the same as the Gale 12D15G or 12D15.<br /> Check in at The Antique Outboard site.<br /> www.aomci.org <br /> You could also watch ebay for parts and parts motors.
