i have a johnson sea horse 5 hp outboard. model #cd-12 and serial# 1295239. what year is it and what is the proper fuel, oil ratio. also what kind of oil to use

Hey claye, welcome to the forum.<br /><br />You are the proud owner of a 5.5hp 1955 Johnny.<br /><br />Fuel mix is 25:1 or one quart of oil for 6gal's of gas.
