Hmmmmm.......Had a pair of '99 OX66 225's. Could not pull the hr info off of them. Anyone else?

hello<br /> I am researching that one. I dont recall any OX66 motors with PC interface. I know its been talked about and was tenative for the 04 model run but I dont recall ever having laptopped an OX66. doesnt mean I have not I just laptop so many they all look alike now. so let me get an answer from yamaha and maybe ill know more.

I have made some calls ,none yet to tech services and cant find any OX66 motors that are PC compatible. while the later tachs haave an hour meter no ECU data is avalible as far as I can find. other than a code reading diagnostic lamp I dont think engine hours are accessable on the OX66. but I am still awaiting a final word from tech services. its funny even the tech service person would not go on a limb and give a definate yes or no . I personnaly hate yes or no questions unless I can research it.

Hi,<br />2002 was the first Year Yamaha Digital guages (the Tachometer) had total hours to be displayed (by pressing Mode button).<br />If You check the Yamaha US website and the PDF Owner's manuals that are available there You can see that 250 OX66 2002 has total hours in the Tachometer. In 2001 it has not.<br />Conclusion?<br />I do not know, maybe the 250 OX66 had the possibility to display total hours on the engine 2001 and earlier also. But in 2002 it for sure can display that.<br /><br />I have a Yamaha 2003 Tachometer myself that display total hours (I have a Yamaha F115, 2003).
