What year Evinrude and what kind of plugs?

25hp Evinrude aquasonic I believe 50s maybe ? Just wanna be sure serial number - 25018-07379 thanks and what kind / number plugs does it take ?

25018 is a 1955 25hp

Plugs should be Champion J4C gapped at 0.030"

its got j6c 's now should i replace the j6's or get j4's

J4C are the recommended ones. J6C a grade hotter.

Might find J6C would be a good choice for a lot of trolling.

Original plugs specified included J6J !

My 1955 Johnson 25hp (basically the same motor) calls for J6J on the Instruction decal on the cowl.
