What year gamefisher 9.9 is this? And how available are parts for it?

Late 80's early 90's would be my guess. Parts can be hard to find, but the usual things, impeller, fuel pump kit, are readily available.

Guy said he reckons coils are the culprit.. Are they impossible to find.. the more I read the More i want to avoid this thing.. he only wants 30 bucks for it though.. I keep reading that parts are hard to find and blah blah. I also read from 1987 to the year it was discontinued, 97 or something that they were made by force? does that mean force/chrysler dealers may hold parts? any help much appreciated

Check for a model number probably on the mounting bracket.
217 perfix is an Eska,no,no! 225 Force maybe OK but not for me.

Ok thanks, Just wondering if it worth the time or a lost cause bc If I can find parts and fix it I might go for it. IF not then i'll leave it be.. i'll get you the model number

If they only watn $30 dollars, go for it. the worst that can happen is that you don;t get it running. thats half the fun. finding parts. If you go to sears and put the number in, you should beable to find parts or replacement parts.

My friends dad had the same motor and i worked at a parts dealer and a guy that worked with me used to work at a dealer that could get parts for it, not sure what brand it cross referenced to but here there number you can try there 413-467-3499 it ALL POWER SPORTS. good luck
