I believe I have a 97 johnson 112 spl. Im looking into replacing pitted up head on cyl 1/3 side. Question is what year range should I be looking for?
found no. 326505 stamped on head w/ d 4 also on it.
If your port head (2 & 4) has a 326505 head then the one you need is a 326506. Whatever the number is on your port head the head you need will be 1 number higher for the starboard side.
It doesn't matter when it was made or what model it is. If your port head is 326504 then you need a 326505 head. You need to match what is good. If you call a salvage yard they'll want to know the number on the head. Most will ask what you have on the other side. Just call someone like Superior Marine (800-338-9281) and tell them you need a V4 crossflow head #326505 and you'll get what you need to match what you have.
