This motor was only made for 2 years 1968 & 1969 I think that the only difference in the 2 years was the gear tooth size on fly wheel and starter. most all parts will interchange. The weakest part of these motors is the electrical system. It has a cd amplifier instead of a power pack. Sounds like you just aquired this one and the first thing you should do is get a manual.
