what year is my boat?

I was given a boat and no one knows what year it is. the sticker says it a SEARS and the serial number is 107-617801-2 and the model number is
PM12FGB im pretty sure its 12' and its made of fiberglass. any info would be great thanks..

Did you reference the model number at a Sears parts depot?

They "should" be able to tell you what it is assuming you get someone that knows what they're doing...

i made a mistake on the model number its 107-61801-2 and i tried sears parts and they have no idea what to do. (good help is hard to find,or understand). anyways i tried looking on this forum as well but no luck.

For what reason do you need to know the year of the boat? No parts will be available for it, in any case. Sears washed its hands of its boats a long time ago.

If it's for licensing or registration purposes, has the boat ever been registered before? If it has, the registration will show the date.

well the boat was purchased as a row boat and was never registered. i wanted to get it numbered so i could use it on maryland waters but they want the year and the owner is unknown. but since i am always helping people around me and most of my payment is handshakes and thankyou's i got a very good deal on a full setup that is already numbered and ready to go so thanks for the help. i would still like to find the year but its not that big of a deal now.

I also have the same boat (Sears Gamefisher 12), and I cannot date it. Because I only have the sticker which states the Model Number (107-61801-100) and the Serial Number (PM12FGB-XXXXX), but no HIN, It had to have been manufactured before November 1st, 1972. Still, I'd like to know its age.

I have this same boat.......if anyone would like to finish the exploration I'd like to know that answer
