What Year is My Evinrude 85hp?

I just bought an outboard Evinrude Starflite 85hp motor with no manual and can not figure out what year it is. It is in excellent shape after sitting for 2 years it started on the first try. <br /><br />The model number is 85393M.<br /><br />My guess is that it is either a 1973 or 72. <br /><br />Thanks in advance!!
