What year is my Johnson 115?

I have a Johnson 115 V4 VRO. I thought it was a 1977 model, the same as the boat, but I may be wrong. I need to replace the lower unit but the power head is in good shape. The only numbers I can find are on the top of the block. J115MLCRD and J595881. Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks for the info Dhadley! I've since found the model number charts online for 1980 and up with a search of prior topics. Great forum.
