What year is my Mariner?

Hi, I have a I believe late 80s 15 hp mariner outboard and the serial number is 684 CS 033965. I have the manual and it doesnt say the year. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

thanks for the link but still couldnt find it on that site. i must be dumb, its got a yamaha logo on the block if that helps

oh i thought it was an 84 by that chart, but thanks for the info i really appreciate it. now does anyone know where to get oil drain plugs washers or orings. my vent screw keeps leaking

1984 model, built in a yamaha factory in japan.
