Snake I had read a post early this year on how to translate the rserial # but i cannot find it been looking for a half hour but if it's any help my 3-0lx is a 95,96 so Im told and it's # is f553706 does it have the est ingition? If you can't get any further info try Naps they have helped me in the past tracking some block numbers. Also check the last 2 letters of the engine code stamped on the front of the block starboard side by the distributor.you should be able to tracka year from there. Hop it helps
