I cannot find a serial number but found a number under the engines starter as follows:

I am unable to find info on this numbers and I rechecked the number a million times so I am pretty sure of the numbers.
I recently purchased this Honda BF40 outboard believed to be 2005 or 2006 year. I had it at the honda service center here and was informed that it was need rebuild and possible a new powerhead. I want to do what work I can myself so I build an engine stand (thanks D. HAYES JR.) and started to look for info. But without the engine number I am at a stand still as far as looking for parts....
Do they sale an engine rebuild "KIT" as they do for car engines (ie. pistons rings seals etc) ?
