i recently aquired a nice used evinrude. the model is E15RCUD sn.E0659923. this says a 15 hp evinrude short shaft 1987 year model. the power head is an OMC replacement powerhead. on the quarter sized plug on the moter head it says RPH the below this is 0397154. I need the year of this power head. the thermostat is on top above the spark plugs. thanks for any help bfryer@aol.com
