What year is this Evinrude 9.9??

Just picked up this Evinrude from a friend to do some maintenence (water pump, carb rebuild, etc)
However the identification plate is missing, so I need to know the year so I can order parts.

Is there a silver core plug about the size of a quarter in the block, it might have the model number on it and that will give you the year.

I think you may be right,
I found a part number of 320819 on the motor
And with a quick search I found that part belongs to a 1978 9.9 model 10825m motor.

ok guys I'm 99.9% sure this is a '78
one more question what is the correct oil/gas mixture?
50:1 or 24:1
