I'm looking at a powerhead to replace one on my 25hp Johnson. The one in question has no manufacturer's tag on the mounting bracket. The only numbers available are on the freeze, (Welch) plugs on the block. The guy reports these numbers as R8579598. <br />He says it's a mid 90's. I believe there was a crankshaft-drive shaft change in 1993-4 so the year is very important to me. Thank you in advance!
