1972 Tigercraft 21'... Has 1989? ford 302 power...<br /><br />196? runabout converted to flats boat in 1998... 1989 mercury 60hp..<br /><br />current project is a 1968 Mako 19'... Don't have it exactly planned out at this time... It will have ford 302, or maybe chevy 350 inboard power...

1972 Bertram 20 Bahia Mar with a 1994 4.3LX Mercruiser. Owned 18 years now.<br /><br />Was towed once with the previous engine. Sheared driveshaft after hitting a turtle.

I have a 2004 Tige 21I Type R. It has a 5.7 liter Vortec GM engine that puts out 335hp. I've only had it a month, but so far, no tow jobs here.

1973 McKee Craft with a '87 Merc.
Vintage hydroplane with a 2000 Merc.
I'm poor...all the boats I ever had were 25 years old.
Never been towed.
Matter of fact, the Searay is the neighborhood tow boat.
I've reinforced all the cleats with 1/4" plate steel.

1975 Hondo Flatbottom with a 1970 chevy 454 been towed once since 1992 because of a broken valve spring.

1975 Biesemeyer Bass boat with Blown Alcohol Big block chevy 1971 block. Haven't been on the tow rope yet (Knock on wood).
