what year without model number

Hi looking at a 50hp johnson to buy and i was wondering what year it would be. I didn';t get the model number but the serial number is A7350424.<br /><br />from memory it has a gray cowling cover and the powerhead was black.<br /><br />thanks<br /><br />ethan

Look on the port transom bracket for a Model & Serial number plate or look on the block for a large welch plug. Model and Serial number may be there also.
