The term looper refers to "Loop chaged " which is a design that incorprorates a porting configuration that acts to scavenge exhaust gases making the combustion more efficient.Seahorse is a term that was used earlier by the Johnson division of OMC on several of their outboards that has no specific application to design.And as far as I understand "Ocean Pro" is a designation of a line of outboards that was introduced to appeal to salt water boaters that may have had a few more sacrificial zincs and more internal cooling system parts that were inhibitive of saly water corrosion.<br />If you have had 3+ years of trouble free operation with your 115,with a little yearly maintenance , your likely to experience several more.
