Ah! Finally rid my computer of virus. Had to re-install original software. Anyways, I'm back from Certelec to Dennis G. Number on freeze plug on one of my motors (Merc) is A933812 and other motor is 03450412. I still can't get "Year" website to work. Any quesses on years? Thanks again. Now I'm off again to try to get steering cable rod out of 150.

Dennis the 150 is an 1986 in 87 the starting no. was a 96---- the 75 no.03450412 is one to many no. the 0 I think must be a D--D3450412 would be an 1994 in 1995 they went to two letter preface and started with OG and 6 NO.---BOB

Re: What years?

Hey Bob, Thanks for all the foot work. Each motor would then be 4 years older than I was led to believe by the previous owners. I still can't get that steering rod out of the tilt tube. I cut the starboard end off and have been wacking on either end trying to push or pull it through but it's acting like it is welded in. I'll have to hoist the motor up and pull the tilt tube with the rod in it so I can put it in a vise. There is very little room on either end of tilt to work on it effectively. The boat (1994 20' Trophy) has been sitting in my garage for 12 months without the steering being used. I start it often but never thought to use the steering. I use my 17' boat because it is easier to haul around on a trailer than the Trophy is. A lesson learned. Thanks again for the help. Best Regards, Dennis G.
