Re: Whatever..............
Everyone has the right to dance in this country. Even though we all know people who shouldn't be allowed near a dance floor. If you are going to dance, learn how to dance and dance responsibly. Always know where your feet are pointed and know what is beyond your dance partner so no innocent dancers are injured.
You've got a right to dance, but not to dance any kind of dance anywhere you want. Not not all dancing is the same. Oulawing mosh pits at a high school, or high velocity swing dancing at the old age home just makes sense. You'll get a lot fewer injuries. Folks can still waltz or foxtrot, but when you get folks who want to start up a mosh pit at a public dance, I'm gonna raise hell. It's dangerous for everyone around them.
Boy, the topic of dancing really gets me fired up! It all goes back to high school, when some Bob Fosse addict on a crowded dance floor did a little Broadway maneuver with an arm flourish, and smacked me in the mouth. He was really sorry afterward, but that didn't make much difference to my split lip.
