OK, yet another stupid newbie question. In reading several of the posts I see mention of a "zinc" located I guess on the lower unit. What is it, what's it look like, and do all outboards have them? <br /><br />I am thinking that it is some kind of sacraficial anode so the case itself doesn't "dissolve" by electrolysis?
