I don't know about the rest of you naysayers, but I BELIEVE.........the great predictor Nostradamus also confirmed the date long before the discovery of the New World and the Myan/Aztecs calenders. I think they were almost correct in their end of the world proficies, but the date is a little off. I think it could actually be November the 6th...

Nostradamus Had a great in site but was suppressed by the Christians (gee, whats new, they are still doing that) had he been able to speak and write his thoughts with out fear of being beheaded or imprisoned we may have learned a lot more then what we already have. His biggest discovery (to me) was our lining up with the dark rift in Dec of this year. Knowing there's a black spot that we are rotating towards is where I think he predicts the earths ending. HOWEVER... he did write something like "unless we change, or prevent our future, we are going to end badly". How the earth lines up on it's polls, or drifts through the cosmos can not changed, or prevented.

Me, I plan on having a big new year eves party.. (or going to one), I think the world's going to end one day, but not on Dec 21st. Whats really going to end this planet... our sun. We maybe hit by a couple of large rocks, or comets that wipes out most life, but when our sun explodes (and they all do) that's going to turn our planet into dust. It really wont even that much. Just a large solar flare pointed right at us and poof! Last week we had a huge HUGE HUGE solar flare. NASA got it on film and it's posted on YouTube. Check it out. LOL, I think it's funny. Look on the wall, does your calendar go past 1 year? O.K. some do but most don't. Why, because we are smart enough to figure out that we couldn't hang a calendar that big on the wall. The Mayan's figured out the same thing. The original Mayan calendar went to 4012 but it was too big to fit on the wall so they sent it back to the manufacturer and had them cut it back to 2012. FYI the Mayan Calendar could not account for things like Earth Quakes and rotational speed changes of the earth so it's not accurate and I think, if you re-did the math, the end already came and went.

Well, the Zombies are going to totally bummed out since the whole Zombie Apocalypse thing isn't going to happen.

Don't worry, I've seen the movie. It's not all it's been hyped up to be.

So just out of curiosity, who came first, Nostradamus or the Mayan's. Pretty sure the Mayan's were considered an ancient civilization. If Nostradamous was alive today he'd be indicted for fraud. He's only been right if you wanted him to be. Anything can be true if you let yourself be convinced that it is.

The world will end on 12/21/12 and the dawning of a new age will begin on 12/22/12. Happens pretty much every day around midnight if you believe in calendars and clocks. You can't go back in time so everything that happened in the past is forever lost and the future is absoulutely unpredicatble becasue any change no mater how small, effects it. Well, that's certainly profound now isn't it.. Rock On!

If the poles don't swap on the 21 I will be really up set I was looking forward to being south of the equator so I could start summer over again.

Opps... I meant airports are MOVING some of their runways because true north, is not longer true north. Or um.. no longer the top of the earth.. it's moved south, and moves more every day.

Figure it would be much cheaper to simply turn right or left a little after take off or adjust the landing co-ordinates a little to suit where they would like to put the plane down

Oh shoot I was so hopeing that the rotation of the earth would switch too.

So they're moving runways? I wonder why they don't just take the MMC 2nd Mate test and learn how to use magnetic variation. Hum maybe the 6.3" shift of the earths axis as a result of the Earthquake in Japan has them confused. Must be an FFA thing err FAA oh, shoot I think I just insulted the FFA, that's not good.
