I agree with most of what Capt Ken says, but still would get rid of the VRO on a OMC product due to these other causes of failure. It just seems that these Motors have more VRO(Injection) failures than other systems, especially on the older ones. Now weather that's due to lack of maintenence, Broken lines, Water in the Tank or whatever, I prefer to eliminate any of those possibilities by pre-mixing my own. Or, if the engine will shut down with no harm done anyway, just run it till it does quit and repair the problem. Tough choice!!
