1993 200hp mercury offshore 25" black beauty.<br /><br />anybody know what my gear ratio is, just out of curiosity.<br /><br />and if you get your info online, could you help me help myself by sharing where ya get it?!

I have a '94 Mariner sales brochure. Says the 200 Offshore (EFI) and the regular 200 Offshore are both 1.87:1. Gonna bet your's is too.<br /><br />200 EFI top rated rpm is 5800 whereas the reg is 5600. Now what difference does that make? Beats me. More manufacturer's poppycock. (BS).<br /><br />Both are at 153 cu in (2507 cc).<br /><br />But the EFI is in at 422# whereas the reg is 407#.<br /><br />Both are loop charged.<br /><br />Both have 40 amp alternators.<br /><br />Mark
