I replaced a Humminbird with a Garmin 160 for $179 from BPS's website. It was $20 cheaper than Wal-Mart. It was easy to install. :D

I have had people tell me the under $100 ones are a waste of money. :(

my brothers ski boat has a pirhana (sp?) for about $79, shows bottom only. i went with a garmin 100 blue for about $169. depth, fish and temp but it reads deep for when i go offshore and has salt/fresh water option to adjust for density. how inexpensive are you trying to stay?

LOL 289 isn't economical when it comes to fish finders. I have two Piranaha 2's in my boat, got em for $80 each brand new and they are just fine.
