Depends...

If there are hard water spots on it, I use Maguires Heavy Oxidation Remover and a power buffer - works like liquid gold.

Otherwise, I would use the Maguires 51 (I think it's AKA 2-in-1) polisher cleaner.

Re: whats the best wax and polish?

Hey Guys:

I have found a wax called "Liquid Luster". It's the easiest to apply and I have taken a 40 year old boat that looked a rusty brown and with one pass/coat made it the original color candy apple red. It lasts about a year. I also did the under part of my boat and gainned about 4-5 mph. The link to their web site is http://www.galaxymall.com/auto/worldsfinestcarwax/free.html It is pink, thick, and you can basically (If the car/boat is not filthy) wash and wax at the same time. It doesn't scratch the paint if you don't wash it first. You can use it on any non_pouris material.

Hope this helps.

Craig :)
