What's the difference in a Cabrea and a Suzuki?

I have an 89' 85hp Cabrea Outboard that says suzuki on the title bearing the model numbers of EL85P. Here's my problem. I thought this was an identical match to the suzuki DT-85 and I've found that my motor has a bad head gasket which is letting water into the middle cylinder and giving a compression loss on that cylinder. When searching for a new head gasket online I've found that the one removed from my motor matches the ones for 87 and older. The one for 88 and newer is different from the gasket I pulled from my motor. So what's the deal did Suzuki title this as an 89 when it was really an 87 or older or on the Cabrea line did they not put the newer features and add ons on them? I'd be curious to find someone that has a motor like this and see what they've found out as I haven't been able to find any info online about the Cabrea line anywhere. Thanks for any help.
