AI summary

So this is tonight's answer from A1

The production location for Mercury outboards in the 60 to 90 horsepower (hp) range depends on the exact engine size: [1]
  • Mercury 60 hp outboards are manufactured in Suzhou, China, where Mercury independently owns and operates a mid-range production facility.
    • Mercury 75 hp to 90 hp outboards are manufactured at Mercury Marine's primary world headquarters in Fond du Lac, Wisconsin, USA. [1, 2, 3]
While both ranges are designed and engineered in the United States, Mercury splits its global manufacturing footprint by horsepower: portable outboards up to 30 hp are made via a joint venture in Japan, mid-range 40–60 hp engines are built in China, and larger 75–600 hp engines are produced in Wisconsin.

Using AI is about like asking folks on a forum, some know some don't know, adding AI in the mix without checking if it's actually correct is like asking a Homer Simpson

Yeah I been quizzing AI about my quad flywheels and the trigger node differences in production years , and by transposing the question different ways you get different answers to the same basic enquirery ( AI doesnt know how to spell inquiery ....neither do I but that's not the point ).:D
