There is this hose, and I think it goes up to the steering arm area, when idleing nothing comes out, but I noticed the other day in the lake that there was a bunch of water pouring out from around the steering arm area?? You can see the hose going up into there and not hooked to anything? What's it do? Also right where it comes out from the lower leg, just behind that and up, water comes out from around there above the cavatation plate is that normal? Here are a couple pics.

Ok, thanks, so I can hook it up to the speedo? my speedo doesn't work cause the sensor? on the transom is gone.

Where does it get its pressure from inside the leg?

The "sensor" is called a pitot. You don't need one on the transom if there is one built into the motor. Wherever it is, it is nothing more than a small hole facing forward, with a tube attached between it and the speedometer. In your case, the pitot hole would be on the leading edge of the lower unit. The pressure comes from the pitot moving through the water. The faster you go, the more water pressure is forced into the pitot.

Airplanes have pitots also for airspeed gauges. Works the same way, except on air pressure instead of water pressure. I sure hope they work better though
