when Removed my Alpha 1 drive unit from the bellows housing to replace the shifter cable this fell out on the floor? I cant see where it goes or what it does? any ideas? cheers
Not knowing exactly where it dropped out of, I would guess it fell into an open exhaust tube and was never retrieved. Either way, just a leftover from sloppy work.
now that does make sense, it fell out of the exhaust hole/bellow, so should i be taking the riser off now, will it have caused damage to the engine running it without the flapper? thank you Don
how abouts maybe the part the flapper mounts into. that part mounts to the exhaust pipe, the flapper mounts to that bracket. you only have one of two. the other one is still mounted to the exhaust pipe..
