Whats up with ibaots login

Whats up with iboats log in. Ive noticed that every time i log in i have to do it twice. The fist time it does every thing correct but always takes me back to the sign in page. The second time it takes me to forum where i can use my member privileges. Its been like this for a few days now.

I've noticed that too. What I've found is this...

Login like you said. When it goes right back to the login screen don't try to login again. Instead, click one of the links at the top of the forum like "Dockside Chat". I find that when I do that, I AM logged in.

I know that doesn't directly address the problem, but it keeps me from putting in my username/password over and over until it finally takes.

Give it a try.

I've had the same problem. I just tried the idea of logging in once and then clicking on the forums link - that worked fine for me.

click remember me, it will log you in automatically, if your cookies are working.

Yup it logs in twice, i work for a company that does single sign on software, and it signs in twice.

Cookies are ok on desktop, but i have a laptop, so i cannot afford to have passwords stored like that.

FYI - those passwords stored locally are very easy to reveal.

I put the iboats forums into my favorites list and just click on it. Goes straight to the forums quickly.

I've been having a similar situation.
After a period of time I need to log in again.
If I go to post and get the big login box, it will keep returning.
If I use the smaller one it acknowleges me and goes on.

I've tried the remember me button - no difference.
I am running Firefox 3.01.
No problems with other sites' remember me.

There is a login timer that if it detects nothing from you after so long it will log you out. All forums do that.

I've never had a problem with login issues and I am also running FF 3.01.

So that means I do not have to log in any more? I don't remember clicking anything to remove it.

There is a login timer that if it detects nothing from you after so long it will log you out. All forums do that.

I've never had a problem with login issues and I am also running FF 3.01.

Must be pretty short - 10 minutes I'm guessing.
If I take too long type a reply it pops up.
