Just dropped from $2.99 to $2.95 here yesterday. Couple of hold outs still at $3.04.

Saw it at 2.64 at one place, high 2.60s in others. On the news they said in one area a gas war got it down to 2.55.

Some are still holding out in the 2.90s.

What's so hard to figure out?

-We can't drill.

-We can't refine. (not ONE new refinery in over 25 years)

-We can't use what has already been tapped.

-We are COMPLETE slaves to the mid-east oil reserves.

We have plenty, yet we can't touch it due to "feel good" small interest groups.

If one votes (pro business), you're labeled as a "hate monger".

This topic baffles me.

One of the alphabet networks named Katy Couric as their new anchor. Sorry, I don't know which one, since I do not watch network news.

If you think you are going to get the truth, from her, you're sadly mistaken. She's got her Million$$$$. She doesn't give a rip about the average Joe. She has an agenda, and that is to strip you of what you have.

It's called-"Power". And, she's got it, with the "Sheeple".

What ever the price is I guess I will pay it, since there is nothing I can do about it. And I won't let the price of fuel stop me from enjoying my life.

Oil prices are set and controlled by the free market economy system, there are times when we have to put up with the bad to benefit from the good.
Why must we always throw out the baby with the bath water?

Just above $3.00 / Gal in Southern Tier of NY, but just 10 mi. down the highway in PA it is under $3.00 / Gal.

Wow, this is amazing to me.

American citizens are awake and drowning.
Oil refineries are not operating at max capacity.
Explain why if oil supply is suddenly slowed that gas goes up, if you listen to the present propaganda we have no refinery excess capacity so it should not matter.

If you do not understand the concept of cornering the market, then you indeed should believe oil prices are guided by supply and demand. You also need to remember that although you head is in the sand your butt is still exposed.

I don't believe that there has been enough a slow down in oil supplies to ease the pressure on refinement output.
