What's Your Boat's Name?

What did you guys name your boat? Any reason why you chose that name?

My boat's name is "Bad Mojo", I don't really believe in good luck, bad luck. I guess I'm thumbing my nose at luck and karma. Cause I'm bad like that, bad to the bone. I thought it would sound cool when I entered a muskie tournement. Last place BAD MOJO.

My 14 year old daughter has a 1962 Jupiter witha 50hp honda, which she drives all summer. Loves it.
The kids call it "Big Mamma".
Its amazing, all the teenage kids just love "Big Mamma". They think it is the coolest boat. When I bought it for her I thought it may be docked due to its age etc. I was wrong thankfully, they take it everywhere which makes me happy.

We also have a 16 ss called "Lumpy" which was the nickname of the original owner.

Last Dollar
Just married and started my own business and we used our last dollar to buy it. Didn?t have to buy a motor as I salvaged one from the deep and restored it. Seems now days it?s the last dollar$ for gas.

Well we have not named ours as of yet. Waiting till I float her and see how things go. But with the last name of Cherry, there are endless possabilities for some good names. The wife has already been thinking of them and we have made a list but it is going to wait.

Maybe "Roid" short for hemmroid(sp)It can be a pain in the a**!

I've gone to symbols rather than names.
One boat had a blue crab painted on the side, this boat will be a fishbone drawn on the side, my other boat has a freshwater bass on it.
NO stickers, hand painted.

One of my boats was called Blue Moon...35' power cruiser...no engine..party equipped! Two full sized fridges, couches, easy chairs, AC cabin...never left the dock! Until I was kicked out...then I put it on a mooring...that was even better!

I painted it ALL BLUE...hull, cabin, cabin roof!

Been to 150? a number of times mostly sport diving. I was a founding member of a rescue and recovery squad. Was an active member for 20 years plus. Held all the position, director, dive master ect. While director I got the squad a LARC 5 to replace or aging DUWK. The squad was quite active during the late 60?s thru the 80?s providing driver safety for the hydroplane races held on the Niagara River.

I notice as many derogatory names as I do endearing names. I hope this isn't a trend in boating. I'm already referring to my I/O as that d*%# hole in the stern. I guess I understand.

I was hoping to see some really creative names for some of your boats. Boat, ghetto boat, surely we can do better than that. I must admit "Piece of Ship" is creative. The rest of you need to step up to the plate. Last dollar depresses and scares me a little. Let's go to our happy place now.

It snowed here today. We now enter what I call in Michigan our "90 days darkness". March first I start stream fishing for steelhead here. No matter what the weather is. I love spring!

I don't have one yet but I saw one named "Help" written upside down. Thought it was pretty funny. It'd be a pain in the butt trying to identify yourself on the radio though.
