Hi, Folks!
Never had Penta b4, but I like it already.
Found that my steering wheel very tough on '78 cabin cruiser Bayliner - 26', which was parked for a few years.
So, I disconected cables and tried to turn the outdrive by hands. Same tough results. I grease guned an old grease out 'till new one start comming out, but an old outdrive still very hard to turn.

Any ideas and help, please?

Thank you all

pull the pin between the steering cable and the steering arm. you either have a frozen steering cable, or the steering helmet shaft is stuck.

if the steering helmet has not been greased in a long time, you may need new bushings
