"Computer guy". I have an Anthropology degree, but I can do almost anything with computers, software and hardware. I've been a PC tech, customer service, network tech, programmer, programming team lead, chief engineer for an internet company, system administrator for a money transfer company, system engineer for the post office, and now I work on large scale applications for a University, although up until recently I was also working on new facilities and construction and project management for them - my new boss sucks, he cut my job in half.

Oh, yeah. At home I do boat repairs for fun, but I love building and inventing. I do welding, machinist stuff, the odd bit of electronics, carpentry, general inventing, home remodeling. I also teach SCUBA diving (I'm not an instructor though, I'm a divemaster) at the U.

I'm also trying to not be single any more, though that's not working out yet...

Marine Scientist, but the only water I see nowadays is on my own boat. Now doing national policy work on environmental issues (pushing paper).

Prior to coming to DC, I did marine ecosystem restoration in FL (artificial reefs, wetland restoration, wastewater projects, etc.) and was also briefly on the faculty of a University there in Environmental Chemistry.

My real job is dad to two great kids. My profession for the last 17 years has been as an attorney. I practice in Nashville Tennessee working with personal injury, Social Security disability and worker's compensation claims primarily.

Like Eric, I spend some of my spare time trying not to be single and it is working our wonderfully. I keep failing :D

I've always enjoyed working with my hands and have rebuilt a few cars, done a lot of cabinetry work and home remodeling, and fixed up 3 different motorcycles over the years. Worked on my prior boat a little, but mostly enjoyed it as the beater it was.

My other hobby is competitive shooting, but I'm a little burnt out after the last 8 years and am enjoying getting back into boating. Really looking forward to getting back on a slalom ski behind my own boat.

I work 50 hours a week managing a restaurant (one of the few bennigan's left) but i still manage to work on my boat a few hours every day :p

I used to work on the line at a Bennigans in Ann Arbor. The freakin best Monty Cristo sandwiches. REALLY deep fried, with powdered sugar, and rasberry jam. DROOOOOOOOL. I ate one every day I worked there. Lol.

I'm a Business Systems Analyst for Coca Cola Enterprises. Keeping the red trucks rolling as they say in the business.. ;)

Also have a side business, playing in a cover band. Mainly country and rock. http://www.myspace.com/brothersbelvedere

Computer Engineer by degree (BSCE University of Michigan) and former occupation (Design engineer on Pentium 4 at Intel).

Electrical Engineer by job/job title in my current job, where I design the electronics for precision measurement instrumentation for measuring surface finish, form, and roundness... and by precision, I'm talking resolution on the order of 1/2 a millionth of an inch.

Building Contractor... Part time Pilot... Amateur Gynocologist.

Been doing a lot more remodeling than building lately, not as much flying as i'd like to, and the Gyno thing... I try and practice everyday!

I live on a lake a few miles west of Seattle so i'm looking forward to getting out on the water a little more this year since I can leave my boat tied up out front all week long.

I got the boat all ready to go in the water, might go today for a while but really need to work on getting a GOOD mooring buoy set up. The wakeboard boats can stir up some nasty chop that'll pull up the best of anchors.

I have been running an aquarium set up and maintainance company for about three years now, but recently it has been kind of slow. My friend and I are now trying to start a second company doing tree work. Here is a funny picture of my truck one day that we did not have the trailer.
