Minnesota's weather is going to be lousy this weekend, until Monday. I stay off the water on weekends, especially three-day weekends. First nice day after the holiday, I'm goin' fishin'. Bass season starts this weekend.<br /><br />Given the unpredictable nature of Minnesota weather, I keep my boat ready to go, with tackle and everything on board, under the cover. If I wake up and see the sun, I'm outa here and on one of the many nearby lakes.<br /><br />It helps that I work for myself, at home, so I can go when it's nice and stay when it's not.

Dude! Totally enjoy it now! 20 years ago I was in your shoes... Best time boating in my life. Used the folks boat, had buds at church with a lakehouse... AWESOME TIMES. All I had to buy was gas and 2C oil. Boated 3 to 4 times a week. Enjoy every minute....<br /><br />Jeff

Fished the Wolf river yesterday, fishing Rib Lake in an hour. Will fish Katheryn Lake tomorrow. A couple hours at a time, between windy thunderstorms.<br />The rest of the time will be around the house/yard.

Well here on the west coast, San Diego, we are under gray skys and marine layer. Just returned from a 70 mile run offshore for nada. Looks like chicken on the barbie this weekend.

Up to the cabin outside of Siren Wi (my website has pics)for the weekend. the boats not going however. I have not had the time to do the required maint. My wife's not happy about that but I just can't start the season without getting the maint done..

been raining in maine so long i forgot to register the boat for the weekend anyway.cant even mow the grass.oh well just hang out!!
