Where can I buy an extension kit for an 81 Johnson 9.9 shaft?

Does anyone have any idea where to purchase an extension kit for johnson 9.9 to convert it to a longshaft? Ebay rarely has any, and the dealers no longer sell the driveshaft. I have a really nice motor and want to keep it instead of sell/trade it. Thanks guys!!

Look in the "Top Secret File" in this forum and you'll find a list of salvage yards. If the dealers say they don't sell the drive shaft anymore, that only means that 1% of your parts availability is gone. Those of us, who collect antiques (20 - 30 years older than yours) we don't even bother with dealers.

I have a longshaft kit I rrmoved from my 1992 Johnson 9.9 - 15 hp when I converted it back to a shortshaft.
